Atrovent is used to ease breathing in patients with narrowed airways, such as asthma, acute bronchitis, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Atrovent is also used to treat a runny nose that persists throughout the year. This medicine works to reduce the amount of mucus in the nose, but it does not relieve the symptoms of nasal congestion or sneezing.
